China is the greatest impediment to global security. There I said it. Just like the Soviet Union would back our enemies, so too does China back our enemies like Iran. If something isn’t done to deflate the Iranian situation, it is likely to be the fault of China.
There are other areas too. In Sudan, the options of the UN to act in order to stop the genocide is extremely limited because China wants oil. And why can’t anything be done about Iran? Because China wants oil. It’s disgusting to see the depths to which China will go in order to satisfy their insatiable hunger for oil. The answer to most of the international problems today is, “because China wants oil.”
So why does Mr. Hu want all that oil for Hu-ville? I believe it is because China is preparing for war with the United States. China has been saying that they are a peaceful nation for too long. No nation says they are that peaceful unless they are planning for war and don’t want to tip anyone off.

You're hatred for China intrigues me. It is often said that hatred comes froms anger which comes from fear. This leads me to wonder what it is you fear about China so much that makes you hate them.
I feel that the oil issue is largely a farce. Even with gas at $3 a gallon and over the U.S. still enjoys lower gas price than the majority of the world and consumes more than most other countries as well.
The issue with China seems to be its impending economical equivelence to the United States and the influence that power will have on U.S. markets. We're not used to sharing.
The facts are that U.S. citizen and policy makers cannot become blinded by the vain assumption that perpetual growth is feasible in the global market.
An economic structure based on competition requires many factions in with varying degrees of influence all in exchange of resources. The U.S. cannot expect total economic domination in any form of international "free-market."
After all, America has spilt a lot of blood opening up these markets.
The war rallying is a nice attempt at courage but it thinly veils the fear you have of not being top dog any more. China need oil beause it is inductrializing.
Rapid industrial growth and economic expansion is occurring in China in a way simlar to the U.S. industrialization in the mid-late 1800's. China has the right to pursue their soveriegn interests as much as anyone.
I think this criticism of China's "peaceful nation" reputation is a stark reflection of the "most peace-loving of nations" image the U.S. tries but fails violently to unhold.

I am an Indian and I am not against Chinese people. Infact my food that I eat these days is prepared by a Chinese woman with same love as I recived from my mother. Chinese civilization is as great as Indian civilization but that great civilization is under captivity now. My sister has a friend who just finished her internship at the CIA last summer. We had an interesting conversation the other day, and we started talking about China. I won't say her name, but what she told me has changed the way I look at China ever since. She talked with a few people at the CIA about politics and what not and, according to her, China was always the hot topic. What she said me shocked me. Basically, China's plan is to acquire, to whatever extent possible, all the world's available supplies of scarce natural resources before they run out. They want to amass a reserve in every rare metal used for industrial purposes as well as oil and energy substances. I won't repeat everything she told me here, but I will say this: We will all be hearing a lot about peak copper, peak silver, PEAK ALUMINUM, peak lead, peak tin, basically peak everything within the next few years. The world has a good supply of iron, but we're almost out of Zinc, which is necessary to galvanize the iron to make steel. The platinum in our cat converters will all be sold back to us at sky-high prices by the Chinese. In fact, the Chinese will be able to set the price of basically every commodity, at whatever level they choose, because they will have it all in reserve. They want to hoard all the resources, so they can disburse them to the rest of the world 50 years from now when these elements are in much shorter supply, but of course at much higher price. They want to set the rules of the game, and they won't stop until they can be the next hegemony. This is partly the reason why the Chinese gov't is in a mad rush to industrialize, because they know that within the next century there won't be enough minerals remaining to do it with. Remember the old tale about the ant and the grasshopper?

I live in Hk now and have been through China extensivley and often. they are without a doubt the MOST Xenophobic racist and culturally imperialistic people I have ever experienced.
They want war, Period. With taiwan and anyone who disagrees with their version of the "asian Co-proseprity sphere". anyone who does not think or feel that they love communist china is the enemy
They have given up trying to arm themselves for an out and out swedge match with the USA/Western Alliance, because they know in an armed conflict they may have the numbers but not the tech know how to invade taiwan.
Also, any invasion of taiwan would seem like an easy thing when compared to the potential guerilla conflict that would unfold. The taiwanese and mainlanders all speak putonghua. try picking them apart. It would be like inavding your next door neighbour. Let alone all the assistance the rest of the world would lend.
However this will all be moot when the major internal economic crash comes in late 2008 for china.
i hate china re: once apon a time a country decided to invade another country a peace loving small beatufull country and booted out all its people and took there 11 year old heroin who was going to take over from the delhi lama he was only a child nobody knows where he is or if he was alive. there was no reason for them to do this other than selfish means, and nobody knows about it because nobody is publisising it as they are afraid of that country that ivaded the other.

I have my own reasons for hating China and the Chinese people:
1. China has almost nothing worthwhile to offer the world other than cheap labor and they can't even get that right. Research for yourself how often the F*CKED UP CHINESE have screwed things up in terms of quality standards for almost every product manufactured in China and you'll understand what I'm talking about, e.g. lead in paint for toys, automobile tires made in China blowing up, etc., etc., etc.
2. With the exception of some Chinese Americans, the Chinese are one of the dirtiest, if not THE DIRTIEST, people group in the world. Think of all the F*CKED UP diseases coming out of that dirty, filthy country: avian flu, hong kong flu, SARS, Lung virus, numerous food-borne diseases, etc. The Chinese people are incredibly dirty...many do not bathe at all and spread diseases as easily as they breathe. What is the solution of the Chinese government? Nothing. They're too ignorant to know what to do.
3. One major factor we in the free and democratic world need to remember is that CHINA IS A COMMUNIST COUNTRY, run by government officials who think they are the reason why the world exists. If you read many of the propoganda coming from these f*ckers in power, you will clearly understand that their sole purpose is to maintain rule for themselves and mask it as if they are doing it for the world. China has absolutely nothing to offer anyone in the world. They are a bunch of blood-sucking leaches and their government officials are dumb enough to believe that communism still works.
4. All of the Chinese TAs (teacher's assistants) in College do not know how to f*cking speak a word of English. LEARN SOME DAMN ENGLISH BEFORE TRYING TO TEACH YOU DUMBASS CHINKS!!!
5. Chinese women are some of the ugliest women on the planet. You would think that if you went to China, you'd at least see SOME pretty women but NO!!! I've been there many times on business (to Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, etc.) and their women are hideous creatures. Even their so-called "models" have jacked up teeth and emit a foul odor which they try to cover up with perfume. I thought the French women smelled, but Chinese women have to take the cake for this category. Try to imagine the smell of week-old stir fried food, foul morning breath, the smell of a dirty sweat sock that's been worn for a month straight without cleaning it, and not cleaning themselves after using the bathroom all rolled up into one....difficult to imagine? Well, meet 99.999% of women in China and you'll experience this type of odor. For many of you doubting me, it's either because you've met only the hotel service people or prostitutes who are forced to shower once a week so as to be "presentable" to Westerners. Visit other parts of this f*cked up country, and you'll know what I'm talking about. Why do you think the Koreans and Japanese refer to Chinese as "scum"? It's because they are a people who live with scum caked all over them as if that's normal.
6. The Chinese are nothing but leeches economically and socially. We in the USA are currently working on initiatives on illegal immigration which focus many times on hispanics (and understandably so). However, we really ought to consider how many ILLEGAL CHINESE are in the US. There are millions of illegal Chinks in the US all living in China towns across the country. Many of them sneak into the States thru Canada (gullible bastards). We spend so much of our tax dollars on these damn illegal Chinks....this is who we should be looking into. Any a large majority of these illegal Chinese immigrants work for minimum wage if even that, and send the money back to China!!! Now you tell me why the US dollar is growing weaker!!!

I taught English to groups of Chinese in Dublin and I was shocked because the majority of the guys had no respect for themselves or anybody else, they were pretty stomach turning actually,the girls were fine and the Hong Kong students were lovely. The guys have a terrible attitude problem and find it difficult to relate to anything western. They don't like the Japanese but i'm afraid the Japanese are far superior when it comes to basic manners and self respect.
China and the Chinese...very sad as their cultural legacy is a gift of tremendous value to the people of the world, it seems modern China would rather forget all this.

I had the pleasure of travelling to Tibet last summer. It was one of the saddest things I have ever seen. I'm a fairly peaceful person but when I see the Tibetans standing up for themselves by torching Han Chinese businesses in Lhasa, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
One should travel to China and Tibet before you make any sort of comparison between the US and China. See how they treat you (like an alien) and see how they're treating the Tibetans (like pigs). Not to mention how they treat their environment.
It is just a matter of time before the US goes to war with China. I'm 29 years old, but I will be first in line to sign up for that battle. Maybe we'll get lucky and Taiwan will declare independence from that evil, evil place.

I agree with many of your hate comments about my country but I can say that not many people have a choice about how they smell, what they eat, and there manners. First of all most Chinese people aren't rich even though the government may be. (Most of the Chinese people are farmers!) Secondly they are not luxurious and tend to save up in the banks. SOoo what they usually appear to be is not always what they really are. Another thing that I would like to say is that all of your hate should not be directed towards the Chinese people because it really is the governments fault. The Chinese hate for the Japanese to me is very justified. Look up the Nanjing massacre on google and you will see what I mean. In Canada, in the last 5 years, we've shipped in almost 1 MILLION Chinese people. In a country of just 31 Million people, I can tell you, we all feel the effect of this culture on our country.

Listen, the United States isn't great. We have invaded other nations, true. We have violated civil rights, yes. We have done many things wrong. But every country has done many things wrong. What is important here is that China censors freedom of speech, abuses reporters, tortures its citizens for no apparent reason (much more than the US has in the last 8 years), spies on its citizens (much more than the US has in the last 8 years), they do not care about the environment in any way, whatsoever. To them the world and every other country in the world is something to abuse to make the totalitarian government and those associated with "The Party" richer.
The United States has obviously done many things wrong since Fuhrer Bush took over, however, the fact that I can write this and not be arrested tomorrow just shows how great the United States is, and how terrible China is.
I also might add that invading other countries is not necessarily bad. Not having a plan to set up a government in that toppled nation is bad. If Iraq had been handled properly after we toppled a terrible dictator the world would be taking a different tone in talking about the War in Iraq. That being said, a leader must also make a decision of whether a stable government can be instituted.

Why shouldn't one hate china..!!! i think they are one of the biggest terrorist. To begin with, they are communist country with no civil or human rights. I hate Communist China, the FDA (Food & Drug Administration), Baxter drug company, and the current Bush administration. I hate these entities but not the Chinese people or their culture.
1. I hate China because they killed my mother this year. Because of polluted Heparin (a blood thinner) from a Chinese dirty drug factory, my mother died a horribly painful and unnecessary death. Her blood clotted after recieving heparin instead of thinning. She clotted off her legs and then her orgins. She died in my arms while I cried for her loss.
2. I hate the fucking FDA because they were staffed by crownies of Bush that knew didn't know shit from shinola about supervising and controling standards. They did not inspect and if they did they didn't know what the fuck they were doing because Bush fired or did not hire anyone who was professional.
3. I hate Baxter because they outsorced the heparin production to China to save a nickle instead of keeping it in the United States, where they would have been subject to strict and clean production rules. Also, those money grubbing bastards at Baxter would have had to pay a decent wage to the workers. In China they could pay next to nothing and as a result...my mother died as did many others.

I just want to say a few words about the current mass viewpoint regarding the evil red empire. And that is that China is made up of a wondrous, rapidly developing and growing number of people who earnestly want to capitalize their enconomy and emulate western culture. It's just so much hogwash. In fact, if the Chinese government really were to have it's way, it would declare war on easy pickings and mop up the loot with a bloody grin.
The utter bs that the media is feeding the west about the elegant, rapidly developing China is largely self-serving fantasy. Now that I've been living in the PRC for the better part of a year, I have a good feel for the overall impact of living in the real China. The news is not pleasant.
My biggest gripe with China is of course the communist government. The are obsessed with controlling the people and hoarding money. It must be understood that the vast majority of China is populated by *dumb ass, piss-poor farmers* who just barely make a living for themselves working the land the government owns. Of course the bureaucrats keep any and all of the profits the farmers would make for themselves working the land if it were they who owned it. Of course, that's not the case. So, more than 90% of China is definitely not composed of the stereotypical young C-man with a fine leather briefcase and expensive cellphone corresponding with his equal western colleague sitting in a high-rise office in N.Y. It just isn't a reality despite the media drumming up these kings of images back home.
In my opinion, the Chinese want to do business with the west but only on unfair terms, if possible. In other words it will prove to be difficult to do fair business with people who are inherently bad to do business with. This relates to the unequaled lust for money the Chinese mindset has. This reagion is notorious for greed, but China takes it to an extreme. People's lives are only worth so many dollars over here. It's really about output from factory drones to squeak out every penny's worth of profit for the greedy factory-owning pigs. This kind of thinking at least partly explains why the quality of products coming from Chinese and Foreign corp. factories is so low.
And it's an unfortunate truth that only recently have some high profile incidents occured relating to defective Chinese products have people began to rethink their veiw about what 'Made in China' really means, i.e., "Is it worth poisoning our beloved family pets to save a few bucks a month on pet food? Will our son grow up with mental deficits because we cheaped out as parents and bought him toys laced with lead paint?" Fear is our strongest emotion and people are starting to get scared smart regarding the quality of products coming out of China.
Second among my gripes with China is the uncanny ability of C-people to be dirty, uncaring, and rude. Never does the western media mention the lack of hygiene of the average C-person when in fact they are dirty with a capital D. It eventually dawned on me that most every single C-person does *not* brush their teeth or wash regularly. WTF!? Just because you live in a communist country does not mean you have to be a filthy pig like the swine running the country. As a westerner living in China, I have to put up with this stench on a dailty basis interacting with these people who refuse to clean themselves. This kind of news doesn't pump stock prices or jack network ratings, so the media isn't going to pick it up. And we as westerners are dumb like C-farmers if we believe for a second that they give a rat's ass about us as humans. In fact, Chinese people are some of the most racist vermin around. I know, I sound like a racist for typing up verbiage like this but it's in fact a truth overhere. Meanwhile countries like the US and especially Canada endorse all kinds of equality bullshit. But why aren't countries like China praticing this. I mean it can't recall the number of times I yearned to be treated in China like most Chinese people are treated back home in my country. Time and again, I'm apalled by the utter apathy and rudenss I receive when I partronize C-vendors over here. One would think it's not important to give good service to customers over here. There is just a general sense of arrogance around here all the time towards white and non-Chinese people that I've not experienced elsewhere, even in the ROK.
I want to close off my rant by saying that western countries need to reevaluate the way in which we think and deal with China. The situation in Tibet and Taiwan need to be dealt with now rather than waiting for full-scale war to break out. We also need to ask ourselves if making or saving a few extra bucks is worth it if it means polluting the planet to the point in which its unlivable or putting the lives of peopole we love at risk.

I really don't get why people try to defend china, and I have no clue how we ended up having the olypmics there. My aunt is from china (married to my american uncle), and they can't even go there anymore. Last time they went they said they could taste all of the chemicals in the air. They ended up being hospitalized along with their 5 year old daughter for 3 days because they weren't able to breath. The USA has made a LOT of mistakes. but guess what, they learn from them, they elected Obama for god's sake. For a country that is dominated by corporate interests, the US has actually managed to enact HIGHER minimum wages, more protection of the environment and more free speech. China has an opportunity here to build on the mistakes of the past, and learn from the errors of the US and Russia, and actually progress much quicker. You can try and deflect all you want, but the fact remains that China is by far the filthiest and most immoral country in the world, no matter how much oil the US burns. By the way, you're burning oil just by reading this blog, so why not torture a dog while you're at it. Same thing right? Give me a break.
